The founders / the guardians

The High Council.

Seidirwood was founded by people following different interests but sharing one commitment: to build a family-oriented community where curiosity and care can live together.

The Council continues

Leadership is
a responsibility.

Our High Council includes the founders and additional members who help care for the Sanctuary's future.

Ókvíðinn (Chris) is the sixth member of the High Council. He is not one of the five founders; he earned his seat through honesty, integrity and loyalty. He looks after security and settles disputes across the whole Sanctuary before they ever reach the full Council, and he is the Anchor of the Forge in House Obsidian. Public responsibilities, appointments and member-only processes are communicated through authorised Sanctuary channels.

What leadership means here

  • Care for community wellbeing and fair participation.
  • Keep the three Houses equal, not competitive for status.
  • Respect safeguarding and members' private information.
  • Make space for disagreement without personal attacks.
  • Protect the right to raise legitimate concerns safely.
The Sanctuary is made by its people

There is more to us
than a title.

A name opens the door. The way we treat one another is what makes it a Sanctuary.
