Applicants aged 18+ complete the membership application. It includes community conduct, safeguarding acknowledgements and the adult confidentiality agreement. Applications are privately reviewed.

No single spiritual path is required. The Sanctuary welcomes respectful curiosity about heritage, folklore, old traditions, occult studies, nature and the unexplained. Our House Rite specifically makes room for different experiences and beliefs.
No. Obsidian, IronWolf and Nightward are equal founding Houses. None is superior to another.
The Sanctuary is family-oriented, but the adult membership application is only for people aged 18 or older. Youth participation uses separate arrangements, age-appropriate spaces, guardian permission and safeguarding rules. Children are not automatically admitted to adult member spaces.
You can describe the House you feel drawn toward in the official Rite. Placement follows the Sanctuary's membership process, rather than a promise based solely on a click on this website.
No. The adult agreement explicitly protects the right to report crime, abuse, harassment, safety concerns and other wrongdoing to appropriate authorities, and to seek legal, medical or safeguarding advice.
Our community is spread across locations. We are planning both live gatherings and activities that members can join when their schedules allow, including the separate Nightfall Games engine currently in development.
