Our story / our covenant

A place to belong.

Not a single doctrine. Not a competition of beliefs. A sanctuary built around chosen kinship, shared discovery and the responsibility we owe one another.

The beginning of something enduring

Many traditions.
One hearth.

Seidirwood Sanctuary brings together people who feel called to old traditions, folklore, history, nature, the unseen and the communities we create in the present.

Our members arrive with different experiences, questions and beliefs. Some study Norse ancestry and lore. Others explore Celtic traditions, seasonal practice, divination, occult history or paranormal investigation. Some simply want to learn in good company.

Our three founding Houses exist to give those interests a home, not to divide people into ranks.

A shared understanding

The Sanctuary Covenant

Our official House Rite describes Seidirwood as a shared home connected by history, spiritual curiosity, kinship, learning and mutual respect, not by identical beliefs.

  • Respect every House and member; no House stands above another.
  • Follow your own path without pressuring others to adopt it.
  • Listen before judging and disagree without cruelty.
  • Keep private experiences, names and stories confidential.
  • Seek consent before sharing photographs, recordings or member information.
  • Explore historical and paranormal places safely and legally.
  • Welcome thoughtful questions and evidence-based inquiry.
A sanctuary for families

Young roots.
Strong boundaries.

I /

Family-oriented.

Partners, families and young people are part of our vision. Family events and learning activities should be welcoming, age-appropriate and guided by care.

II /

Safeguarded.

Children participate only under appropriate guardian permissions, approved supervision and community safeguarding rules. Youth spaces are separate from adult member areas.

III /

Private by design.

Our adult membership process includes confidentiality commitments, but nothing in those commitments prevents lawful reporting, safeguarding concerns or seeking professional help.

Adult membership applications and confidentiality agreements are for people aged 18 or older. Children do not apply through the adult form; family participation uses separate guardian consent and supervision arrangements.
The path is never finished

Learn deeply.
Question freely.

Respect for tradition need not mean the end of curiosity.

We make space for reading circles, cultural research, folklore, creative work, ancestral study, spiritual discussion and evidence-minded paranormal exploration. Beliefs may differ. Consideration for one another does not.
